Tiffani Penson is a candidate for City Council in District 2 (North/Northeast Portland).
Penson works as a People and Culture Manager with the City of Portland and previously served as the city’s first Supplier Diversity Officer, focused on expanding access to city contracts for minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned businesses.
Penson currently holds elected office as the twice-elected Board Chair of Portland Community College. Her other board engagements include the Oregon Humanities Board, the Northwest Native American Chamber, and KairosPDX.
Penson’s priorities include representation, community safety, an accessible and transparent government, and revitalizing downtown and neighborhood business centers.
