Melodie Beirwagen is a candidate for Portland City Council in District 3 (Southeast Portland).
Beirwagen is a guitar equipment repairperson at Amphead, a business in southeast Portland that builds and repairs guitar amplifiers. She is also an active member of the Portland music scene, having played in numerous rock bands over the past thirty years.
Beirwagen’s priorities include to supporting small business owners and working people, reducing wasteful spending, improving public safety, and enhancing transportation accessibility throughout Portland without raising tolls.
