Mariah Hudson is a candidate for City Council in District 2 (North/Northeast Portland).
Hudson is a Senior Communications Specialist at Oregon Health and Science University. She also chairs the PBOT Budget and Bureau Advisory Committee and co-chairs the PPS Budget Advisory Committee.
She is a 2024 alumna of Emerge, a political training program for Democratic women.
Hudson’s priorities include livability, access to housing, mental health and addiction services, sustainability, and investments in public infrastructure. Specific proposals include enforcing existing regulations on short-term rentals and investing in the Green Loop, a linear park around the Central City.
