Eli Arnold is a candidate for District 4 (West Portland and the Reed, Woodstock, and Sellwood-Moreland neighborhoods).
Arnold is a Portland Police Officer serving as member of the Central Bike Squad. His resume also includes serving as a member of the Enhanced Crisis Intervention Team and a Field Training Officer. A former Blackhawk helicopter pilot of the United States Army, he served for two years in Afghanistan.
Arnold’s campaign aims to address homelessness, expand police and emergency communication services, and enhance fiscal accountability to ensure city funds are used efficiently. He supports creating designated camping areas for homeless individuals and advocates for increased staffing in public safety organizations.
