Chris Henry is a candidate for Portland City Council in District 4, representing West Portland and the Reed, Woodstock, and Sellwood-Moreland neighborhoods.
Henry, a retired truck driver, serves as the chair of the Oregon Progressive Party and is a former chair of the Willamette Neighborhood Association.
He previously ran for Attorney General in 2012 and Governor in 2014, both times as a Progressive Party candidate. In 2022, he also ran unsuccessfully for Oregon Labor Commissioner.
Henry’s campaign priorities include addressing housing and homelessness, improving public healthcare and transportation, advocating for sustainable energy policies, and raising the minimum wage. He pecifically advocates for decommissioning the CEI Hub and establishing a public bank to invest in worker cooperatives.
