Bob Weinstein is a candidate for District 4 (West Portland and the Reed, Woodstock, and Sellwood-Moreland neighborhoods).
Weinstein is a four-term Mayor of Ketchikan, Alaska, where he also served two terms as a Ketchikan City Councilor. With a background in special education, Weinstein has served as a school superintendent of a regional Southeast Alaska school district, and chaired the Alaska Governor’s Educational Funding Task Force.
Weinstein’s priorities include improving public safety, addressing homelessness, promoting livability and economic development, supporting seniors and school funding, and stopping public drug use. He advocates for fiscal responsibility and a moratorium on new taxes.
